Nomad Winterhawk, originally from Pasadena, will take you on a guided tour of a little known aspect of Africans in Southern California. We will met at Alkebulan 9-10:30am for a visual presentation and discussion of the tour locations. We will leave for tour at 10:30am. We will stop at Los Encinos State Historic Park and go to the mountain called, 'the Lady's Face' to walk up a steep trail to be able to look down and see the location of the pyramid pond complex.
about Nomad Winterhawk: Nomad is an African-Native American. He is African in ethnic origin and Native American in cultural orientation. He is a Medicine Man that has become a Historian, a Ceremonial Chief that has travelled as a teacher of Circular Thought and the Medicine Wheel Ways. He has been a guide to many on the path to self-development and to others a bridge for greater cultural sensitivity in understanding the role of Africans within the Native American Cultural Legacy. He is also a pioneer in documenting the history of early African presence throughout the Americas since -70,000 B.C. and a member of A.S.C.A.C. (The Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations) in the United States.
